Sight:

Red Sea - sea that separates Sudan of the Arabian Peninsula is often overlooked by divers because of the coral reefs and variety of marine life, however do not have many resorts as its Egyptian neighbor.

Pharaonic temples - along the River Nile, several temples were built at a time when Egypt was extended further south than the present border. One of the most interesting temples is the Temple of Sobel, built by Amenhotep III, around 1400 BC, although it is difficult to access. A most easily accessible temple is the Temple of Amara, built around 1270 BC by Ramses II, and one of the least destroyed of that Pharaoh.
